Project Description: Alcatel/Lucent 3G T1 Adds - Perform all duties listed below as a member of a team with national responsibility for the provisioning associated with the growth of the 3G Network.
Job Description:
(What will the contractor do on that project?)
** LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY PLS **
o Add/Expand IuB links for existing Alcatel/Lucent Node B equipment in the 3G network.
o Perform specific job tasks including:
o Create, Prepare, Validate & Execute scripts to be run in the RNC, Node B & MSN(Aggregator) &/or make changes via GUI interface.
o Complete Pre & Post checks of all systems including Health Checks, etc.
o Create/Prepare/ Update Work Orders, Trouble Tickets, Status Reports
o Troubleshoot & Operate all 3G Network Systems/Components.
o Demonstrates high proficiency - and is able to assist others in resolving complex &/or chronic problems in the 3G Network.
o Act in a leadership role to provide guidance & support to other team members, internal customers & other operations groups (i.e. MSC, RNOC & ATS).
o Perform all responsibilities without assistance & with minimal or no supervision.
