Project Director - Middle East

Location: Dubai

Sirius Telecom currently has a strong presence in Northern Europe and we aim to expand our operations into the Middle East. To do this we are looking for a Regional Director for our Dubai Office.

Job Description:
To support the growth of our global operations, Sirius Telecom is looking for a Regional Director to boost our business in the ME region. We are looking for a person who is driven by creating results, setting and reaching goals.

As the regional Director will be responsible for the P/L of the region it is necessary to have some experience with normal accounting and finance procedures. We will be able to offer support from our European HQ in the start up phase but expect a high degree of own initiative and ability to run the complete business for the region. This includes business plans, strategy, budgeting and handling staff.

Qualifications:
The person we are looking for should match the following criteria:

• Strong sales background
  We are looking for a person who has experience selling consulting or other services and/or products to telecom operators and vendors in the ME region. You must have a strong and broad network within the procurement and the technical departments of our potential customers. Your network will be key in obtaining success in the short run.
  
• Strong telecom experience.
  Ideally you should come from one of the following backgrounds, RF Manager, Rollout Manager, Program Manager or equivalent. You must know the ins and outs of network deployment/SWAP projects/optimisation projects etc. You must be able to communicate with our customers on a high level both technically and organisationally.
