I am urgently seeking an experienced Nokia MW Planner to work on a 3 month extendable project in South Africa.

Previous experience in planning on Nokia Flexihopper is essential for the role as is Pathloss experience and a background in using Netact Link Planner

JOB ll UK ll Services Support Engr

You will be responsible for:
• Maintaining and operating our servers to ensuring the high availability of services.
• Fast clearance of problems raised by other departments.
• To respond and act on operational issues escalated by the Support teams.
• To take on and operate new services developed by the Development team and feedback any operational trends that impact services or performance. .
• Liaising with support teams, development teams and third parties when necessary to ensure swift resolution of issues.

To be successful in this role you will have:
• Experience on at least one Unix Operating System (Debain and Solaris are our standard builds)
• Working knowledge of ISP Systems and software (Radius, Idap, bind etc)
• Script skills would be advantageous
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong problem analysis skills to be able to diagnose possible causes of issues and faults.

Working as part of a 24x7x365 shift team you will be working a 6 week shift cycle on site at Brick Lane meaning you are entitled to a generous shift allowance on top of your basic salary.

JOB ll UK ll Access Network Development Engr

Key responsibilities for this role include:
• Development and Testing of new wireless home router platforms and upgrades to existing platforms.
• Managing roll out of upgrades across the base of over 2 million customers
• Active involvement in complex engineering projects across the department ranging from ADSL technologies to IP network designs.
• Full project lifecycle involvement from technical specification, to planning stages and development through to deployment and ensuring on going support is fully integrated.

To be successful in this role you should demonstrate:
• Experience gained in a Telecommunications network development environment, performed in a technical role
• Knowledge of DSLAM / MSAN hardware and software architecture as well as experience configuring and testing new firmware and features
• Fundamental interest in the Broadband technologies and CPE devices in the industry
• Detailed understanding of the different protocols used in DSL, Ethernet and IP architectures and environments
• Good knowledge of 802.11 and other home wireless technologies
• Knowledge of Network and Device Management Systems including RADIUS, DHCP and SNMP
• Experience with Perl scripting and Linux based operating systems an advantage
• A relevant Bachelors Degree and / or industry certifications an advantage
