With ourMiddle East HQ in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, we are working in rapidly expanding markets with new technologies and infrastructure solutions representing new challenges and opportunities. Our client is a major telecom operator in Middle East. I require one Technical Author to implement and maintain the documentation process, ensuring that all the teams within the NOC have access to their required documentation. In this highly influential consultancy role you will be expected to manage and co-ordinate the documentation process. As an accomplished documentation expert, you have gained extensive knowledge and professional experience within previous telecom projects within the function of Technical Writer or Documentation Manager within a Network Operation Centre Startup or Improvement Program with major telecom operator or vendors. Mandatory Position pre-requisites Needs analysis - liaising with the business teams Planning - prioritising workload managing the needs Development - creating DOS, specifications, prototyping, drafting, reviewing Standardisation - defining look and feel, creating style guides Collection - sourcing documentation from outside the NOC Evaluation - user testing developed docs prior to publishing Publication - distribution of docs, online design and maintenance, physical management of library Maintenance - updating the published docs
