PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE DESIGNING RF ABSORBER COMPOSITION AND LAYOUT FOR ANECHOIC CHAMBERS, FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAKING NEAR FIELD, FAR FIELD, COMPACT RANGE, AND EMC MEASUREMENTS IS PREFERRED.

* We are looking for an engineer with a significant test and measurements background. Someone who knows their way around anechoic chambers, compact ranges and knows and models
absorbing materials if possible.

* Someone who has done Modeling, and has knowledge of absorption and RF characteristics of the materials. Foam,polymers, coatings, etc.

* An engineer who has performed modeling, and has built some of the products in which they have modeled.

* An engineer who knows how waves propagate, has knowledge of reflection, and how the electromagnetic waves act in different scenarios.

* An engineer who has used CST modeling software.

* An engineer who is familiar with Raytracing .

* An engineer who knows how signals propagate within a anechoic chamber.

* An engineer who is familiar with signal reflections, how signals propagate within the Quiet zone of the chamber.

* An engineer who has measured field uniformity.

* Experience as an Antenna Test Engineer familiar in the use and or running of Antenna Test Ranges is desired.

* Recent experience designing, operating, testing and maintaining antenna measurement ranges helpful

*Ability to conduct the tests within ranges and interpret data helpful

* Experience with electromagnetic and propagation modeling and modeling software is a plus.

* Experience with Solid Works and or Auto Cad is helpful.

A BS Degree or equivalent Electrical Engineering, Electronics or Physics is required. A Masters is preferred.

3?10 years of experience in engineering or technical operations roll preferred. Prefer at least 2 years of multiple project management experience in a manufacturing environment.

* Must be a US citizen and have ability to attain classified clearances, though no active clearance is necessary at this time.

* Must be able to travel on a limited basis worldwide. 20% expected.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Work with our internal and outside experts to design RF absorber products, chamber layouts and analyze chamber performance results for product improvement.

*Conduct design reviews with cross functional teams at various points throughout the design, build, install and test process.

* Revise existing design guideline materials and establish an updated Internal Design Guide that ensures consistency and uniformity across company?s manufactured products.

* Work with technical support to produce drawings for internal and external uses in a timely and accurate manner.

* Work with technical support to assist in the creation and maintenance of Part Numbers and Bill of Materials to support production and installation teams.

* Partner with the Process Development Team and Manufacturing to ensure new product is ?designed for manufacturability? and existing designs are reviewed to improve yield rates, reduce defects and ensure best reliability for the customer.

*Provide input to the Process Development Team to aid in their establishing a uniform process validation methodology/ procedure.

Salary: To 130K
