A pioneering Mobile Telecommunications organisation currently require an Optimisation Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. The successful Optimisation Engineer will be responsible for analysis of performance statistics on both counter and drive based data for 2G Ericsson. You will then provide recommendations for parametric and or hardware configuration changes. You will also progress optimisation initiatives and participate in projects to introduce new technology/function ality into the network with respect of 2G, GPRS and EDGE. Candidates are required to have expert knowledge of Ericsson 2G/3G equipment you will have frequency planning experience, both manual and using AFP tools. You will have working knowledge of hardware and software features and constraints for Ericsson 2G/3G and the ability to make recommendations to improve quality of service.
