Sirius is growing rapidly in the Nordic region and we are looking for a skilled Packet Core Engineer with Datacom experience.

Job description:
You will work in a highly motivated team working together with our customers in the Nordic region providing them with communication network solutions and services adapted to their current and future needs. In your role you will be responsible for the design, implementation and support of these solutions. You will also play an important part in the sales- and bidding process where you provide technical sales support. In this position you will interface with our customers, project managers, global support center, R&D and sales teams.

Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for commissioning and maintenance of Packet Core for Mobile Networks, switches & routers and other network equipment.
• Provide technical support to customers through remote and on-site trouble-shooting. Provide prompt and timely investigations and resolution for the problems in Packet Core products and data communication network equipments.
• Provide complex technical activities such as SW upgrades, technical audits and network expansion.
• Provide technical solution and hands-on support on Packet Core network and data communication network system.
• Support Pre-sales team on technical issues.

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of 2G and 3G Packet Core product (i.e. 2G/3G SGSN, GGSN, Charging gateway, DNS, etc.) ,
• 3-5 years experience is required
• Familiar with basic knowledge of IP network, network protocols (OSPF/BGP/ISIS/H323/SIP/MGCP,etc.).
• Experience in network design, planning and implementation is a plus.
• Good understanding of MPLS, SIGTRAN, ATM, SDH, RADIUS and DNS.
• Good trouble shooting skills and knowledge of trouble shooting tools (Ethereal, Nethawk, etc.)
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced changing environment.

Mandatory qualifications:

• University degree in communication Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent degree.
• Fluent in English.
• Danish work permit

Desirable qualifications:

• Advanced knowledge in communication protocols under 3GPP standard
• With CCNA or CCNP certificate will have an added advantage
• Nordic language desirable

• Well developed communication skills, including the ability to liaise with people at all levels of the organization.
• Well developed interpersonal skills.
