Duties:
The candidate must have the ability to perform radio network EVDO optimization activities for EVDO Carrier adds.
Optimize using RF engineering technology
Provide training and guidance to less experience persons in the area of expertise
Utilize engineering tools such as switch interface applications, drive test data collection, and post-processing tools, and network performance statistics monitoring and analysis tools.
Be able to manage projects and keep detailed records of activities
Qualifications:
Applied knowledge of Motorola EVDO network design, parameters, and optimization.
Must have background in cellular networks specific to iDEN and CDMA technologies. Experience with mapping software such as Mapinfo, drive data post-processing software such as Windcatcher or comparable, and drive data collection tool such as Agilent, Invex, etc.
Minimum 5 years of RF Engineering experience.
Experience with project management, leadership of project implementation.
Education: Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
